Pump or controller issue?
How to test if the pump is working:
- Close the main airline valve.
- Close the main discharge line valve.
- Check the pump is in exhaust mode.
- Open the fuse terminal block , so the PLC will turn off.
- Disconnect the discharge line and secure it on e.g. a post, so you can see if the pump is pumping.
- Open the main airline valve.
- Operate the pump control valve manually (pressure - exhaust) by pushing the green buttons with a Phillips screw driver or a centre punch.
- If the pump is pumping fine, then the issue is coming from the controller side.
Controller related issues
Solar charger : Red light on, green light flashing
The battery voltage has dropped below 11.2V.
The charger is preventing the battery from further discharging by cutting the power supply to the controller.
The controller power will be re-connected as soon as the battey voltage will get above 13.2V.
Solar charger : Red light flashing, green light flashing
The battery is empty and as a result, the solar controller circuit is preventing from charging.
Check the battery voltage and if found below 10.5V, use a battery charger to recharge.
If the battery is more than 8 years old, replace the battery.
The controller should run on a good battery for at least 7 cloudy days.
Pump control valve : Instantly changing state from pressure to exhaust
The controller air pressure has dropped below 2.5bar.
Increase the controller operating pressure by turning at least half turn clockwise the plastic knob located at the top of the pressure regulator.
If you see no difference at the pressure gauge, check your compressor.
